Redarc Tow Pro Liberty Brake Controller for 2013 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
I have a 2013 Tacoma with the factory trailer package. It includes a 7-way pin and is pre-wired for a brake controller. Plan to use on a single axle trailer under 5,000 lbs. Is this controller over-kill? Which controller do you recommend? What other parts do I need? Will the knob fit in the blank cover to the left of the steering column of my truck? Can you recommend or suggest someone in the Denver CO area that con do the install? Thanks.

The Redarc Liberty part # RED24FR with the custom fit install harness # 3040-P and # 331-TPH-017 for your 2013 Toyota Tacoma is by far the best brake controller for the money for your truck. You get a mostly hidden proportional brake controller at a really low price. Whenever possible I recommend this for people as you really can't beat it for the money and just in general.
The knob should fit no problem in the area of your dash that you mentioned. Finding an installer would be as simple as finding a mechanic in your area with a decent reputation as this is a pretty basic install for a mechanic.
