Rail Kit to Install Curt Q20 in 2020 Ram 2500 8 ft Bed without OEM Rail Kit
Question:
Just bought a 2020 Ram 2500 WITHOUT the OEM. Looking at this hitch with the rail kit of 16424-204. Trying to make sure this will fit in my new truck. I sent in a question but the answer was for a truck WITH the OEM. I also may want to go to a 24,000 LB so I need to see what will work?

The Curt Q20 fifth wheel hitch part # C16130 can easily fit your 2020 Ram 2500 that does not have the OEM rail kit. To install this hitch in your truck you would want the rail kit part # C16427-204 though as the rail kit you mentioned does not fit your truck.
I would recommend you go with the A20 hitch part # C16140 though instead. This is the updates version of the Q20 with an improved jaw design that is overall smoother and quieter.
