RV Trailer Hitch Receiver for Trailer With I-Beam Frame and 3 Inch Square Sewer Tube Clearance

Question:

I am interested in a receiver hitch to go on the back of our 5th wheel RV. It is for a bicycle rack not for towing. The width of the I-beam frame is 70.5 inches outside to outside. There is almost 1.5 inches of horizontal flange on both sides of the vertical part of the I-beam to drill and attach a hitch. There is a 3 inch square tube for carrying the sewer hose on the back of the frame so the 2 inch receiver would have to extend at least 3 inches below the frame. The Draw- Tite max hitch on your website looks like there might be enough of the receiver to be below the 3 inch square tube and extend to the rear below the tube, but the widths available are not shown. Any help you can provide will be appreciated.

The ideal RV hitch for your application is the Curt Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide # 13703. This is designed for I-beam trailers and will give you the 3 inch drop you are seeking. I've attached a video of the installation as well as a photo of the dimensions to assist.
