Platform Hitch Bike Rack for Ebike with a Step Through Frame and Fenders
Question:
My trek Allant ebike has a step through frame and fenders so I am wondering if the Rola rack frame attachment will work for the step through model

The step-through frame is not a problem on your bike, but the fenders could be. The Thule T2 Classic, part # TH9045 says that it "may interfere with front fenders." so it is not a good choice for you.
Instead, I recommend the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Rack, part # SA4412B. The straps that connect to the bike frame are adjustable and wrap around the frame rather than resting on it like the Rola. They're cushioned straps to prevent scratching your bikes' frames and are made to fit around a variety of frame styles. This rack also has a 60-pound per-bike capacity, that's always something you have to keep in mind with Ebikes. I've linked to a video review of this rack for your consideration.
