Availability of a Combo Bar with 2 Inch Opening Made of 1/4 Inch Steel Tubing

Question:

I am going to need a Combo Bar for an up coming project...Back in the day...These were made from 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 x 1/4 sq tube and the last 6inch - 8inch was Broached to fit a 2inch square bar...these days they are made fro 3/16 thick tube and everything I build to go inside shakes and rattles...the anti rattle devices only fix the problem in one direction...Do you have a supplier that still makes Combo Bars out of the thicker 1/4inch tubing?..If yes how do I go about ordering one?...

I went out to the warehouse and pulled the Curt combo bar # E-11 and a Hidden Hitch combo bar # 80818. The hidden Hitch bar is 1/4 inch steel tubing and the Curt bar is slightly less, about 0.21 inches. Going with a Hidden Hitch, Draw-Tite, or Reese combo bar should get you closer to what you need. Otherwise a machine shop should be able to fabricate a bar to your specifications. I made a short video showing the measurements for you.
