How to Tell if a 2008 Range Rover Sport is Equipped with Trailer Wiring
Question:
Hello, How can I tell if my vehicle is pre wired for Towing? IT came with the factory able hitch receiver but I do not see any wires by the hitch. Thank you for your help.

I took a look at the picture you included with your question. I wasn't able to verify if the vehicle has wiring. It is very likely that there is wiring included since it's equipped with the factory hitch, but this isn't a certainty.
Factory tow packages are specific to each vehicle, and some can include wiring while others do not. The only way to be certain is to contact your local Land Rover dealer with your VIN and ask for confirmation of whether or not the vehicle comes pre-wired.
If it turns out that your Range Rover is not equipped with wiring, then take a look at our wiring kits which I've linked.
A good one to consider is the Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit, product # 119250KIT. It's a Plug-and-Lead system that eliminates the need to cut or splice into the vehicle's wiring. It comes with Surface Mount technology that increases its durability and lifespan. It is highly rated and we even have a video of installation on the 2008 Range Rover Sport, which I've also linked.
