Trailer Brake Controller Wiring To Move Tekonsha Brake Controller To Multiple Vehicles
Question:
I have a Prodigy P2 which isnt needed any longer. I rent my travel trailer to people and would like to know if there is an easy way I could let my renters use my controller if they dont already have one. Do you offer any solution to this?

To allow customers to use your Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885 you will need to have different wiring harness connectors for multiple vehicles and they would need to have the factory tow package wiring under their dash.
For Ram use Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - Ram # 3024-P.
For Chevy/GMC use Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # 3016.
For Ford use Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # 22292.
For Toyota use Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers - Dual Plug In # 3031-P.
You can determine vehicle fits by looking at each product page.
If you don't want to worry about connectors like this, then you can use the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 2 Axles - Proportional # C51180 which doesn't require any further wiring and utilizes a mobile app for settings. This is something you could rent out as well if you wanted.
