Yes the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock - Stainless Steel Flush Design for 2" Hitch Receiver part # e98882 isa great hitch lock for your 2008 Chevrolet Silverado. It has a great design that allows you to snug the lock up against the side of the hitch to prevent tampering.
