Is Furrion Chill AC Available with a Heat Coil

Question:

Hello...........I have a 16 foot X 7 foot enclosed Interstate 1 cargo trailer. No up- grades inside trailer. Thinking about installing a Furrion, 15K BTU, Part # FR58PR, non ducted unit on roof. Using shore power to run unit. Can the Furrion unit be purchased new, with a heat coil ? I understand that a square, 14 1/4 inch opening in the roof is needed. Since the unit weights 88 lbs. I am thinking about mounting it over the axle to distribute weight. Is there a support package that I mount to the metal ceiling joist to help support the weight of unit and possible reduce vibration? Can you recommend installation videos?

None of our Furrion Chill AC units, like part # FR58PR, come with a heat coil or pump so you would just be relying on this for cold air OR you could use the Advent Air Setup # ACM150BCH which comes with a heat strip. When is comes to the installation you will need a 14-1/4" square opening and you'll want to have some kind of support system to help keep the roof in good shape.

We don't have an installation video of an AC unit on a cargo trailer, but we do have a video of the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-06200K on a 2018 Nissan NV 2500 that you can check out and use a bit as a reference for your install. This van doesn't have a built-in space for the roof vent so we add a little bit of support. You'll obviously want to add some additional bracing on your trailer to help support the AC unit.
