Can Reese 63155 Cargo Carrier Be Used in Class I Hitch on 2019 Volkswagen Beetle

The detail here doesnt show what Class this is. Im looking for a 1 1/2 Class 1 carrier. Is this okay for Class 1 hitch on a 2019 VW Beetle?

The Reese 20 x 47 Cargo Carrier you'd looked at, part # 63155 is indeed compatible with a 1-1/4 inch Class I trailer hitch. The carrier itself has a 300 lb capacity, but you'll be limited by the 200 lb tongue weight capacity of the Class I hitch on your Beetle. This means that the 40 lb weight of the carrier plus the evenly distributed weight of the load placed upon it cannot exceed 200 lbs.
If you don't yet have a hitch for your 2019 VW Beetle, I'd recommend the Curt Class I hitch, part # C11354 which is compatible with all models except the R-Line and the Diesel. This hitch requires a stabilizer strap like # 18050 to be used with bike or cargo carriers.
