Mounting Bracket Recommendation for a 4-Flat Trailer Connector on a 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid
Question:
Planning to install the Curt hitch on our 2006 Highlander Hybrid, and to use the #11848 wiring package as the vehicle has the tow prep package. We dont want to have the wiring hanging out the tailgate. Can you recommend a specific bracket or other type of permanent attachment for the connector outside the vehicle? Thanks!

The bracket that I would recommend to mount a 4-way connector on the outside of your vehicle is the 4-Pole Flat Mounting Bracket, # 18144. This bracket can attach directly to your trailer hitch using the self tapping screws or it can be used with a Universal No-Drill Mount Bracket, # 18140, so you do not have to drill into your trailer hitch.
