How To Use Husky Weight Distribution System On Straight Pole Tongue
Question:
Hi i have the Husky Center Line Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 12,000 lbs GTW, 1,200 lbs TW - HT32218. I want to hook it up to my second trailer but it has a straight pole tongue. The second trailer is alot lighter. gross weight is only about 5000 lbs but i dont want to buy a whole new system. What adapter will work and fit best. Thank you

In order to use a weight distribution system on a trailer with straight pole tongue you'll indeed need an adapter, the Reese Pole-Tongue Adapter for Weight Distribution Systems part # RP58393.
In order to better accommodate the weight of the lighter trailer it would be a good idea to switch out the spring bars to the Replacement Spring Bar for Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System part # HT32330.
