Could Reese Pole Tongue Adapter Work with Aluminum Trailer Frame

Question:

Hi, The manufacturer of my trailer, Montrose trailer in Michigan recommended you and the single pole adapter for my trailer as the tongue weight is around 12-1400#. He told me this today. I just read another chat that says you cant have the adapter and an aluminium trailer. I wanted to be sure before I purchase the adapter. TY

If the manufacturer of your trailer says it's okay to use weight distribution and a pole tongue adapter like the part # RP58393 with your aluminum trailer you can but we have found that most manufacturers of aluminum trailers will say not to use WD with them. We have seem a few rare exceptions though.
