Comparing Equal-i-Zer and Husky Centerline Weight Distribution Systems
Question:
Hello please tell me , why should I pay $236.00 dollars more for an equalizer brand hitch compared to a husky hitch working on the same principle and weight rating ? Im talking here about the EQ37120ET and the Husky HT32218. Anything obvious that Ive missed ? Thanks

There's more to a weight distribution system than just the weight capacities listed. The Equal-i-Zer brand systems like # EQ37120ET are considered by many to be the "gold standard" of weight distribution systems. They are a simple design that is rock solid and easy to use. Also have been out for quite some time and because of that we know they hold up very well. You can't go wrong with an Equal-i-Zer basically.
Now the Husky equivalent part # HT32218 will work too but it's newer on the market so the reviews from customers who have used them aren't as easy to find. Most state that it works well but connection and disconnection is odd since the vehicle and trailer have to be totally straight. Either system is going to work well for you. But if you want the option we know people prefer to most and will last a long time with low maintenance the Equal-i-Zer is the way to go.
