Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2014 BMW 328 Wagon

Question:

Howdy. Im in need of a hitch and wiring for my 2014 BMW 238 Wagon. Im pretty sure this is the hitch I want: Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" Item # C11367. But Im sure I was on your website yesterday and it was $ or something like that. Also, I need an economical means of wiring. When I Google there some conflicting results for etrailer. Will this work ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit Item # 119250KIT $ I just cant bring myself to spend so many $ for wiring. Are there other options? Thanks, much!

I'm guessing you meant you have a 2014 BMW 328 Wagon (as opposed to 238 Wagon). With that being said, pricing is fluid, so it is very possible that you saw different pricing on the Curt # C11367 one day and then it was different the next.

When it comes to wiring you can use the ZCI # 119250KIT that you referenced, which is a great choice. This universal wiring harness does not require you to splice into your OEM wiring which is why a lot of people with a BMW prefer the ZCI wiring. We also have the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236 that will splice into your wires.

To complete your towing setup, you'll also need a ball mount like part # C45521 and a hitch ball like the 1-7/8" # 19256 or the 2" # 19258.
