Recommended Trailer Hitch and Towing Accessories for 2014 Nissan Rogue
Question:
Hello, I looking for a tow hitch to pull a small camper or trailer. What kind of hitch should I get? You have listed a Class III C13315. I need the tow hitch that fix my Nissan 2014 Rogue, so I can bolt it right up. I need the ball, I think a 2inch and the wiring. What do you think? Thanks

We do have Class III hitches for your 2014 Nissan Rogue, but the Curt # C13315 you referenced is for a Mazda CX-5 and wouldn't fit your Rogue.
I'd recommend the Curt # C13204 Class III which is a fit for your vehicle. For a ball mount, use # 2753 and # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball.
To wire the vehicle for a trailer, you'd begin with the # 118480 trailer wiring harness which would provide a 4 pole trailer connector. If the trailer/small camper you're planning on towing isn't equipped with brakes, at this point, you'd be good to go.
I've linked you to install videos for the hitch and the trailer wiring harness plus demonstration videos for the installation kit and the Echo wireless brake controller I mentioned.
If the small camper you speak of does have brakes, you'll need a brake controller to actuate them. Curt offers a wireless controller, the Curt # C51180 Echo which installs pretty easily and only requires a smart phone to control it. You'd also need a # ETBC7L install kit. The install kit includes an adapter to convert the 4 pole provided by the 11840 to the 7-way required by the camper.
