2 Camera Setup for 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 Towing Fifth Wheel Trailer
Question:
I am curious I am fixing up a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 with a Cummins. I have seen different options for cameras and even tailgated mounted cameras and my question is that I would like to add a second camera for gooseneck/5th wheel mounted camera similar to the new Ford F-350/450 is this possible to do with one monitor or would I need one dedicated to each and use one in the dash monitor and the other be in the mirror?

There are camera kits that will have two cameras that can be viewed at different times on a single monitor but it gets complicated if you want one of the views to be on the trailer and the other on the tow vehicle. We have the Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kit - 2 Cameras # RVS-776614-213 which would cover what you are looking for. It's a wired setup and includes a longer wire for one of the cameras (the rear of the RV) and also a shorter one to mount on the vehicle.
