Recommended Bike Rack for Two 70 lb E-Bikes on 2007 Toyota Prius
Question:
I have a 2007 Prius. I have a hitch installed, I can do 1.25 or 2 hitch. We want to carry 2 electric MOUNTAIN bikes so they are possibly 70 pounds each. 140 lbs total. Which rack would work for this weight, but also on my Prius? THanks!!

The trailer hitches that fit your 2007 Toyota Prius are either the Class I Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24808 with a 1-1/4" receiver or the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7196 which has a 2" receiver.
Hopefully you have the latter, because the only bike rack that will allow you to carry a pair of 70 lb bikes only fits a Class II 1-1/4" hitch or a 2" hitch, the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 2-Electric Bike Rack # HLY74FR.
This rack has an 80 lb per-bike capacity so it will carry your heavy bikes while also securing the investments you made in them. It has integrated hitch and frame locks, which lock the bike rack to your vehicle and bikes to your rack, respectively. I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well of the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 2-Electric Bike Rack # HLY74FR.
