Why Would Furrion Vision S Observation System for RV Stop Working When Vehicle is Put in Rerverse

So I have a Furrion FOSO7TADS and it is paired with my camera. I can see behind me while driving down the road but once I put my truck in reverse the screen goes dark. I drive a 2019 Ram1500.

Sounds like you might have auto running lights on your truck which is then activating the running lights on your trailer and then turning on the camera of the # FOS43TASF that you have. Have you tried turning on the running lights or headlights of the truck when it's in reverse to see if that keeps the camera activated.

I spoke with my contact at Furrion and the barrel connector size of the Furrion RV Observation Camera System part #FOS05TASF is 2.5 mm x 5.5 mm.
