Compatibility of Go Power Solar Kit with Factory Solar Input on Rockwood Ultra Lite Trailer
Question:
I have a new Rockwood Ultra Lite with a Solar on the side plug for solar power. It has 2 100 amp batteries. Does the 170wOverlander work with that setup and a portable setup for the panel?

Expert Reply:
The solar port like # FSPINS-PS on the side of your trailer will work with the G Power Overlander solar panel like # 34282182 or the complete system # 34282181. The issue is the connector is not directly compatible with the factory inlet. We don't carry that connector for the Furrion input, but you can get one from the manufacturer and then solder it on and it will work very well. We have had customers do this and can confirm it works. Many will directly wire this system and use a separate portable system if more power is needed.
