Recommended Curt 5th Wheel Hitch Base for Ram OEM Pucks and Curt 25 Head
Question:
Hello, I just purchased a 2020 Ram 3500 and it has the factory installed puck system under bed. I have a curt 25 fifth wheel hitch that attached to bed rails in my 2012 dodge. Can I buy a rail system that i can fasten my curt 25 hitch to and the rails fit into my puck system on my new truck. I am trying to save money by using the hitch i already have. Thank you

Absolutely. The Curt A25 or Q25 hitch head can use the Curt OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Legs for Ram Towing Prep Package - 24,000 lbs # C16021. So you can remove your current legs and use this new base that will work with your Ram factory puck system. It will reduce the overall capacity to 24K.
If you have a short bed, then you instead will use Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider - Ram Towing Prep Package # C16022 and the Curt R24 Fifth-Wheel Roller - 24,000 lbs # C16570.
