I Draw-Tite Hitch on a 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon a Good Fit for Thule Bike Rack
Question:
I need a trailer hitch for my 2019 Subaru that is compatible with my current bike rack a Thule 99058 Roadway. Im looking at the Draw Tite 76227 but am not sure if the hitch provides enough clearance to allow install of the rack without hitting the bumper. Also, I have a somewhat steep driveway so ground clearance is an issue. What is the ground clearance for the installed hitch? Is this info on your website? Thanks.

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76227 is an excellent option for use with the Thule Camber # TH9058 on your 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon!
When we installed this hitch on a '19 Outback Wagon we found that from the center of the hitch pin hole to the furthest edge of the bumper measured 2". Since the center of hitch pin hole to the mast on the Camber measures 5-3/4" this gives you 3-3/5" of space between the bike rack and your vehicle.
As far as ground clearance goes we found that to be 16" from the ground to the top inside of the receiver so you're really looking at about 13-3/4" above the ground when we take into account the 2" receiver and the collar around it. This is about normal for an Outback Wagon.
Attached is an installation video of this hitch on a '19 Outback Wagon for you to check out.
