Recommended Trailer Hitch for Dutchman Fourwinds with Jack Behind Bumper
Question:
I have provided a diagram of my RV Trailer frame and back bumper. I am wondering if I can install the Ultra-Fab Products RV and Camper Hitch - UF35-946403 based off of what you see in the diagram. If it seems possible, how does one weld the bracket at the end of the arms onto an I-Beam?

The best and easiest option to install a trailer hitch on the back of a trailer is with the Curt RV Bumper Hitch part # C19101 which bolts onto a standard 4" x 4" rear bumper. The Ultra-Fab 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver for Trailer Frames part # UF35-946403 or one like it would not work in your particular application as it would need to be moved much further up therefore removing the jack you pointed out.
Please note, if you need more support you can obtain brackets to help further support the rear bumper.
