Recommended Trailer Hitch and Wiring for 2008 Toyota Highlander (All Models)
Question:
Hi. May I have some assistance ing the correct trailer hitch for my SUV? I have a 2008 Toyota Highlander Sport. I need a hitch for a camper under 4000-lbs with electrical hookup. What would you recommend? Thanks,

The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2008 Toyota Highlander (All Models) is the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98858 which is a direct bolt-on fit and it has a nice matte finish which will help it better blend in with the vehicle. It has plenty of capacity for a small trailer.
In regards to trailer wiring, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56217 is completely plug-in so that's what I recommend. The etrailer Ball Mount Kit part # 989900 would then complete your setup.
