Recommended Tires/Wheels for 2015 Heartland Trail Runner Travel Trailer with Size 205/75-15

Question:

I have a 2015 trail runner with a dry weight of 5570. GVWR is 7800. Would this be a good fit for the stock 205x75x15s that I currently have. My current tires are also rated at a Cinch load capacity. Thank you for your help.

The Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Tire w 15" Viking Aluminum Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LR C # A15R45BMMFL has a capacity of 1,820 lbs at 50 psi. This adds up to 7,280 lbs, creating a potential for overloading, which is one of the main causes of tire blowouts and tire failures

For a similar tire/wheel that has a more suitable load capacity, take a look at the Westlake ST205/75R15 Radial Tire w 15" Lynx Aluminum Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LR D - Silver # LHAW320. It has a rating of 2,150-lb max load at 65 psi, so this is what I recommend for your 2015 Trail Runner travel trailer.

If you really liked the look of # A15R45BMMFL, you can also use parts # TR20515D and # AX02550545BMMFL to get the Viking aluminum wheel on a 2,150 load range D version of the Provider tire you were wanting, but this is definitely not the most cost effective way to go. Keep in mind that you'd also need to take them to a local tire shop to get these mounted.
