Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring of 2016 Honda CR-V that Has Voltage on Turn Signal All the Time
Question:
When I first installed the harness in my 2016 Honda CRV, everything worked as intended. Now after a couple of years, the right turn trailer light is energized as soon as the trailer harness is plugged into the vehicle harness. I tested the connectivity on the CRV side harness and the green wire is continuously energized. Im anticipating the converter may be the issue that there is a cross connection from the vehicle power to the light?

Sounds like you the converter box of the trailer wiring you installed shorted out and and is now in need of being replaced. This is a pretty common problem. If you test for voltage before the converter box and find the correct voltage is making it to the box but not to the output side then the box has been damaged an in need of replacement.
For that the most reliable replacement we have would be the Tekonsha kit part # 118561 as we've found their converter boxes to be the most reliable.
