Hole Spacing of Curt E-3S Bumper Mounted Hitch
Question:
My 65 El Camino has rear bumper holes on 6 1/2 centers and 13 3/4 on cross member with 3 3/4 between front and back holes. What are the dimensions of your E3S flat part of plate and which holes are on 8 3/4 centers?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The # E-3S hitch from Curt is designed to be compatible with bolt holes found in the bottom of the license plate well of a standard truck step bumper.
The flat portion of the hitch measures 11 x 4 inches with an overall width of 14 inches. The oblong bolt holes closest to the receiver opening are 8-3/4 inches apart on center and the round set of holes are 6 inches apart, also on center. I've shown these dimensions in the included photo.
