Replacement Leaf Springs for Streamline Duchess 26 Ft. Travel Trailer

Question:

Good morning, I have a 26ft Streamline Travel trailer. It has 2 axles and is set up with double eye springs with shackle straps connected to an equalizer. The springs are 6 leaf with 9/16” diameter eye holes which are bushed with a metal bushing. Center to center hole dimension is 26 1/8”C dimension. The springs are 1 3/4” wide and each leaf is 5/16“ thick. All suspension bolts are of the wet shackle bolt type 9/16” dia. with zerk fitting. The height from top-center of spring to center of eye is 4”D dimension The Streamline trailer empty weighs 3800 pounds. Would you have a replacement? Presently I have one that is broken, but I am told that I should replace both on the same axle, so I would need two each. It looks like the closest item you have on your web page is a SP-053275 with a D dimension of 3 3/4” where mine measures at 4”. And yours has a thickness of the leafs are 3/8inch but mine are 5/16”. Thanks

In regards to replacing leaf springs on a trailer, you will need to do all of them at the same time. If you were to only do one or half so to speak, the new springs are then going to put more pressure on the others making the trailer lean/sag and shortly wearing out completely thereafter. The best replacement option we offer is the Double-Eye Spring part # e77SR for 2,000 lbs, part # e27SR for 4,500 lbs, and part # e94SR for 6,000 lbs. The spring capacity you will want to match that of the axle capacity or as close as you can get.

If you were to replace all four sets of leaf springs, the issue with the leaf springs being different thicknesses and height being different would not be an issue.
