Is the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack Easy To Remove

I just bought the Saris Freedom rack and this is my first rack. When I am not using the rack is it easy to remove until the next time I need it or do I need to leave it on??

The Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack part # SA4412B only weighs 22-1/2 lbs so it will be very easy to take on and off the vehicle. In order to do this you simply need to unscrew the anti-rattle hitch bolt from the shank and trailer hitch. Then, the bike rack can be put up for storage. If you like, you can leave the bike rack installed on the vehicle but keep in mind it does not fold up.
Please note, the Saris Freedom does not come with locks but you can add them for the bike rack with part # SA3022 and bikes with part # SA981.
