Will the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack Fit on a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta

I want to know if the Sherpa will fit on my Jetta. I saw the vid for the 2012 Jetta and that looked great. Is there a diff btwn the 11 and 12 as far as clearance to the bender and ground??? Help! Thanks

The Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack, # SH12G, will definitely work with your 2011 Volkswagen Jetta. The 2011 and the 2012 Jetta have the same generation body style, so any differences will be very minimal. I cannot say for sure if the ground and bumper clearance will be the same as the 2012 since we have not had a chance to install this bike rack on a 2011, but I am confident that you will have no issues using this bike rack and all of the features it has to offer.

This bike rack would be my recommendation for you because Kuat builds a quality product and this is a lightweight aluminum bike rack that has the ability to carry two bikes up to 40 lbs each. This bike rack is also available in black and chrome as part # SH12B.

The Kuat Sherpa, part #SH12B will be compatible with your 2011 Nissan Altima. Be aware that the rack weighs 32 pounds, and your tongue weight capacity will need to include the weight of the bike rack in your capacity.
