How To Mount 7-Way To Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch On 2016 Honda Odyssey
Question:
Thanks for your response. I was actually looking at hitch 76025, the Draw Tite, Class III. I like the look of this better than seeing the entire hitch below the bumper. I know it is more work, but believe it to be worth it. Do you think this is still acceptable? I know this may cause another issue of mounting the 7 pin receiver, but was hoping there may be another mounting bracket that could be attached to the bumper or some other place. Also, I was previously looking at the 4 pin harness, item 118521 as an option, but was wondering the best way to install it since it would now be used with the RV upgrade kit and need to run underneath of the vehicle instead of pulling it out of the trunk when it needs to be used. Again, I very much appreciate your help with this as I am much a do it yourself type of person instead of paying a good chunk of money for someone else to. Thanks again.

The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76025 is an excellent option for a 2016 Honda Odyssey. It has a hidden design so you only see the receiver tube, not the bulky cross tube. It also offers bolt-on installation though you will need to remove the bumper, but only once.
In order to install the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118521 with the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation part # ETBC7L, you'll want to use the Curt Easy Mount Bracket part # C58000 because of the hidden cross tube on the trailer hitch. The wires from the 4-way will be tapped up and zip tied so you don't have any excess wires handing down.
