Troubleshooting Invisibrake Install Where After Cruise Control Stopped Working
Question:
Ive just had both the Road Master towbar accessory light wiring kit and an Invisibrake system installed on my 2014 Honda CRV, including a Fusemaster switch system. Everything seems to work okay except that now my Cruise Control wont function. I get the green Cruise Control Masterinch light showing up on the dash, but the controls on the steering wheel no longer function. The CC was working fine on my way over to the installers shop I had a shop install the Invisibrake and light wiring kit. I installed the tow bar mounting brackets on the car and the Fusemaster switch kit myself. I swear I saw something in the literature included with one or more of these components/systems that mentioned that could happen, but I cant seem to find that information anywhere now that it has. Can you steer me to the literature that addresses that issue or tell me what to replace, reset or remove?

Try checking to make sure the breakaway plunger is fully inserted. We've seen this exact problem before and the issue was fixed by pushing the plunger all the way in.
