Tow Bar Wiring Recommendation for 2012 Honda CR-V

I am installing the SMI Air Force One braking system on a 2102 Honda CRV towed by a 2017 Newmar ventana, What is the best wire system to use. Also, do I need any special adapters

I attached an install video that shows the SMI Air Force One part # SM99243 installed in a 2014 Honda CRV that is similar to your 2012 model.
For lighting the easiest solution will be to use a custom fit kit like the Hopkins part # HM56304 which plugs right into the taillight harnesses of your CRV. I attached an install video that shows this installed on a similar 2014 CRV just like yours.
