Options for Installing B&W Companion Slider for Turnoverball Rail Kit in 2020 Ram 3500 w OEM Rail
Question:
I had a truck without the oem prep package that had the BandW turnover ball installed in it. With that I used a BandW companion slider hitch. Love it! Just bought a Ram that has the OEM system. Is there an adapter to continue to use the same BandW companion slider? Its a little difficult to put a square tube in a round hole.

There isn't a super easy solution to allow you to install the B and W Slider hitch you have now in the bed of your 2020 Ram 3500 that has the OEM rail kit but I have a couple options. Easiest is a new slider hitch that fits the rail kit directly with the part # BWRVK3670. This would give you the option to sell your old hitch as a complete assembly to offset cost of the new hitch. Other option is to take the head off of your current hitch and install it on the OEM Ram slider base part # BWRVB3670. This would initially cost you the least but the odds of being able to resell just the slider base would be more difficult.
