4-Way Extension to Get 4-Way Up to Front of Homemade Trailer

Question:

I made a trailer out of an old late 1980s - early 1990s cargo/utility box which was on an early 90s chevy S10. I thought the brake lights plug was a flat 4, but on closer inspection it has 4 plugs, but the usual type of flat 4 plug will not connect. Do you recognize this type of plug coming from the cargo box? How can I connect to it, extend it to the front of the trailer, and make it compatible with a flat 4 or 7 prong plug? Thanks for you help in advance.

That looks like a standard type of connector that vehicle manufacturers will use for various connections. I couldn't give you a part number for it though. Easiest option would probably be to cut that off and then use the 4-way extension part # HM47114 which is 4 feet long to get you a standard 4-way ran to front of vehicle.
