Tire Chains for 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 With 275/55-20 Tires
Question:
I have 2018 Chevy Silverado 4WD 1500. I’ve been told that the cables will contact the E Break cable and cause damage. Is there a cable chain that will work?? Thank you 275/55/R20

The owner's manual for a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 states to not use tire chains on 275/55-20 tires because of the chance for interference with components such as brake lines etc. That said, some areas require snow tire chains so you really don't have much of an option if you need to travel. Therefore, a set of class s chains which are designed for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance would work best. The Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains part # TC2327 would be best for this and they are super easy to install so you won't be out in the cold very long.
The tire chains must be installed on the rear tires only.
