do i have to have a converter for wireing this ehicle and is it included in the kit?

There are different wiring harnesses for the 2005 Honda Accord, both of which have a converter box. The converters are already part of the harness so you just need to install the correct one. If you have a 2-door model, use # C56053. For a 4-door sedan use # 118302. I have linked instructions for both.
A converter is needed to convert the 3-wire signal from the vehicle down to a 2-wire signal used by most trailers.
