Replacement Head for Reese SC Weight Distribution System with Bar Part # 22210

Hello, I have Reese trunnion with 22210 stamped on them and a head that has 55520-G on it. I need a replacement head to fit these bars. The head unit has retention pins are are broken. I have read two posts for these parts and one says I need a whole new system and the other states I can use replacement head listed for all Reese systems. Is there a replacement head that will work for this?

I've actually spoken with Reese in the past about the part number you have 22210 and they told me that based on that you have an SC system and the replacement head you can use is the part # RP54980.

Yes the Reese High Performance Trunnion Head with Shank, #RP54980, comes with the, #RP58167, trunnion head. You are going to need to measure the bar thickness you have. The earlier bars were 1-1/8 inches and the later bars are 1-3/8 inches. You…

If the spring bars have 22210 stamped onto them then you can use the Replacement Head for Reese Weight Distribution System part #RP58167 which will allow you to reuse your existing hitch ball, shank, and spring bars.
