Replacement Head for Reese Weight Distribution System with 22210 Spring Bars
Question:
Hello, I have an older Reese weight distribution hitch with a broken latch pin, I would like to purchase an replacement head for my set-up. My existing hitch only has the numbers 555 and possibly followed by two 00. It looks like the number is 55500. I tow a tow behind travel trailer that has a 6900 GVWR and unloaded TW of 638. I have two sets of trunnion bars, one set has a number of 22210-G and say 750lbs. These are straight. The other set has the number 22210-H and say 800lb. These have a bend on the ends unlike the straight ones above. My ball hitch is 1 1/4 shank. Could you tell me if I can buy a replacement head is it #RP58167 and if I can buy a replacement head, will the 22210-H trunnion bars rated fro 800lb TW fit the replacement head, I would like to use my existing shank and 1 1/4 ball with this replacement head. I have pictures if they will help. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much!

If the spring bars have 22210 stamped onto them then you can use the Replacement Head for Reese Weight Distribution System part # RP58167 which will allow you to reuse your existing hitch ball, shank, and spring bars.
