Front Mount Trailer Hitch fit for 2005 Chevy Suburban 2500
Question:
I think I read somewhere that there are issues with front hitch installation for 2500 suburbans with the 8.1 liter engine, can you tell me what hitch model is the proper one for my truck and will install without major modifications? Thanks!

The front mounted trailer hitch that fits a 2005 Chevy Suburban 2500 is the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 31108.
I checked with the manufacturer as well as going over our reviews and there is nothing regarding an issue with installing it on your engine size, as it has been confirmed to fit all models of '05 Suburban 2500.
There may be some fascia trimming required, but otherwise no major modifications needed. I have added a link to the installation instructions for you to check out as well of the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 31108.
