What Frame Dimensions Does Buyers Products Hitch Plate # 3371809061A Fit

Question:

Good Morning, I have a 63 Ford C850 that I need a heavy hitch for. After a bit of digging I found that this hitch is supposed to fit a 34inch medium duty truck frame. My question is where to measure that 34inch at. Outside of the frame? Inside of the c channel? How much height and depth does this occupy inside the frame rails? My truck has been shortened so the spring perches are pretty close to the end of the rail. Sorry to blast you with so many questions at once. If you prefer I could provide you with the dimensions of what I have and let you make suggestions. Thank you in advance.

The 34 inch trailer frame measurement is taken from outside to outside of the two frame channels. On older heavy duty vehicles like yours this is a very common size so most likely this would work for you.

If this won't fit your best option would be to find a fabricator who could weld you up a hitch solution as custom fit options would be very limited. We also have plates without brackets like the part # 3371809040 as well.
