Will Yakima HoldUp Fit with Spare Tire on a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Hi, Will this rack work on a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited? Will I be able open the rear door with the hitch lowered? If not, does Yakima make another platform rack for 4 bikes that will work better with my Jeep? Thanks,

The Yakima HoldUp # Y02443-2 measures 12 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack. While we haven't had the opportunity to test the HoldUp clearance with the spare tire on a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, you can use these dimensions to help gauge where the rack will sit in regards to your rear door.
To ensure that you will have clearance for your spare tire you could also use the Yakima BackSwing # Y02483 with the HoldUp which not only places the bike rack further away from your rear door, but it also gives you the ability to swing the bike rack away from your vehicle out to a 90 degree angle. Using a hitch extender like this one will reduce your hitch's overall capacity by 50 percent.
Another possible option is to use the Yakima FullSwing 4 Bike Rack # Y02465. This is a hanging style rack but it has the swing-away function built-in so you don't have to purchase anything else. The only thing you have to double check on is that this measures 15" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the mast. Just make sure that this fits with your spare tire and you're good to go!
