Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer Recommendation For Old Town 13 Ft 136 Kayak
Question:
What would be the recommended length of a Yakima Rack and roll trailer to tow a Old Town 136 kayak?

From my research the Old Town Canoe 136 Kayak is a tandem kayak which is 13’6” long and 31.5" wide. The Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer part # Y08106 is a great option for you because it can tow (1) 17' foot or (2) 16' boats. This is the information on the length I found on the 136 but I do recommend to confirm the length of your kayak to be sure.
If your boat ends up being longer than 17' I recommend the Malone MicroSport Trailer for 4 Kayaks part # MPG460G which allows you to carry boats up to 20' long.
Then you can use the etrailer J-Style Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs part # e98878 on the cross bars of the trailer to hold the Old Town Kayak. This kit also comes with tie-downs as well.
