Why Do Some Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer Have Reflectors On Front and Some Have Beehive Lights

My Rack and Roll Trailer 66 has a reflector where this beehive light is supposed to be as in the attached picture. Can the reflector be replaced with a beehive light for greater safety? Which models come with a beehive light versus a reflector like mine?

I spoke with Yakima about the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer part # Y08106 and the newer models have the reflective tape as opposed to the beehive light. If you want to install the Replacement Beehive Light with Mounting Bracket for Yakima Rack and Roll Trailers part # Y8880187 in place of the reflective tape you can do so but you'd maybe need to make a few small modifications to do so.
