The Gorilla-Lift Utility Trailer Lift Assist you'd looked at (as are all the ones we offer) require that top of the trailer sides be between 12-14 inches above the trailer floor and the tailgate itself be 4-6 feet above the trailer floor. If your trailer meets the parameters, the # GL1 lift assist would work great for you.

We don't have a video of the #GL1 installed on a bi-fold trailer ramp but I did attach a picture we got from a customer who installed it on a bi-fold ramp setup for you to check out as well.
