Would EZ Flex Equalizer Kit K71-652-00 Cause 8 Year Old Tires to Fail

Hello, About a year ago I installed the K71-652-00 Equalizer kit on my travel trailer, Everything seems to be OK except one thing that I am concerned about. If I stand back and look at the two tires in the wheel well, there is an obvious appearance that the two tires are no longer centered in the wheel well and this is the case for both sides. They look closer together than they were before the upgrade. I recently had to replace all four of my tires due to a lot of wear on the outer and inner threads of all four tires. Yes the tires were 8 years old and probably needed to be replaced anyway, and I always make sure my tires are inflated properly before ever trip, and the tires being closer together as I mentioned above may not have caused my tire issue. Hover my question is, could it be possible that it did cause the damage, and will it be a problem in the future on a new set of tires. Also I would like to know If I decided to put the original equalizers 13-104 back on my trailer would the bronzed bushings and wet bolts that are there now or new one still fit? I dont like the way the tires look not centered in the wheel well like they should be, but I do like the wet bolt option in order to lubricate the parts. Could you recommend some thing that I could do and the parts I would need to do it with. Dont get me wrong, I am happy with the upgraded parts, Im just not comfortable with the wheels not being centered in the wheel wells. Thanks,

Trailer tires need to be replaced at 6 years of age due to them breaking down and dry rotting which causes tire failure. The issue you had with your tires is due to the fact they were 8 years old and not due to the EZ Flex equalizer kit you have installed. As long as you can handle the looks of your tires being closer together there is no reason you'd have to go back to your old setup. Having a cushioned ride if anything allows things to not wear out as quickly.
