Will TorkLift SuperHitch # TLF1000 Fit 1988 Ford F-350 and is Drilling Required
Question:
Will this fit my 1988 F350, and will I need to drill? Also, is this the heaviest duty hitch that you offer for my application?

Expert Reply:
If your 1988 Ford F-350 is equipped with the standard factory or step bumper the TorkLift SuperHitch # TLF1000 is a confirmed fit and will work great, however it will require some drilling into the frame rails for installation. This is actually required for any aftermarket hitch on your F-350, so there isn't a better option in this regard.
The TorkLift SuperHitch is the only model available for your truck with the dual 2" receivers and it also features the highest towing capacity at 17,000 pounds (or up to 20,000 pounds when used with a weight distribution system).
