To carry 4 bikes on your 2010 Honda CR-V you will need to use a hitch and a hitch bike rack. A trunk bike rack is not available to carry 4 bikes.
The hitch that I would recommend for your CR-V is the Draw-Tite Class III 2-Inch Hitch, part # 75547. This is a Class III 2-Inch hitch that will have a tongue weight capacity of 675 lbs. You will want to check the owners manual of your CR-V to determine the tongue weight capacity of your vehicle. If your vehicle has a lower tongue weight capacity then your hitch, you must use that lower tongue weight capacity as your guideline.
I am including a link to the installation instructions on the hitch and a link to a video of the hitch being installed on a 2011 Honda CR-V.
The 4 bike rack I would recommend would be the YakimaRidgeBack 4 Bike Rack, part # Y02458. This is one of the lmost popular bike racks for your vehicle. It has a weight capacity of 150 lbs. So your 4 bikes will need to weigh less than 150 lbs for this bike rack to work.
I am including a link to a product page that will list the 4 bike racks that will fit on a 2-inch hitch. You will just want to check the weight capacity on the bike racks if you will be limited by a lower tongue weight capacity on your vehicle.
If you will be carrying womens, childrens, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend using the Yakima Bike Adapter Bar, part # Y02531, to carry the bikes more level. I have included a video link showing how the adapter works.
Any auto repair facility will be able to install the hitch. If you have a favorite mechanic that works on your vehicles he will be able to install the hitch on your vehicle or will know of a place that would be able to install it for you.
