You're in luck, because the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System with Sway Control # C17500 actually comes with a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball, so it will work perfectly with the coupler on your travel trailer that accepts a 2-5/16 inch ball.

In regards to the fit in 2 inch hitches, that refers to the shank of the TruTrack fitting in 2 inch trailer hitch receivers on your tow vehicle. So if your truck has a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver, the shank of this system will slide right in and fit. I have added links to a couple video reviews for you to check out as well.

The Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System with Sway Control # C17500 has a tongue weight capacity of between 800 lbs and 1,000 lbs so the 900 lbs you asked about would be the optimal total tongue weight (TTW) for this system. The ideal system would be one in which your TTW falls somewhere in the middle of the weight distribution system's tongue weight capacity. In order to choose the best weight distribution system you will first need to know your total tongue weight (TTW), which is the tongue weight of your fully loaded and ready to go trailer plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. The tongue weight is typically between 10% and 15% of your trailer's GVWR but you'll want to verify it by using a scale such as the BetterWeigh Mobile Tongue Weight and Payload Scale # C51701 or by using one of the methods outlined in the help article on determining tongue weight I've linked for you. From there, simply add on the weight of the cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle and you'll have your TTW. For example, if your TTW was 700 lbs the Curt TruTrack - 8,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW # C17499 would be a great option or if your TTW was 1,250 lbs the Curt TruTrack - 15,000 lbs GTW, 1,500 lbs TW # C17501 would be perfect.
