Can the Roadmaster Tow Dolly Be Used With a Full Size Truck
Question:
Is the 4,380lb capacity for the front axle weight or total vehicle weight? Roadmaster mentions that you can tow a full a full-size truck with it, but very few full-size trucks weigh under 4,830.

The Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Self-Steering Wheels and Electric Brakes part # RM-2050-1 is indeed limited to a vehicle under 4,250 lbs. I would concur that this is pushing it for a full size truck but we do have a better option for you in the Demco Kar Kaddy X Tow Dolly w/ Disc Brakes part # DM9713093 which has a 4,800 lb weight capacity and is a much better option than the Roadmaster Tow Dolly due to the disc brakes, larger wheel straps, and wide tread which are all things you need for a truck.
